Tipsy Gipsy House - 2B Town House in Fumba Town

:-) Just like a year ago (late February 2025), the Tipsy Gipsy House flat was perfect and very lovely. The flat has everything you need – even air conditioning and fans – except for one thing: this time, the washing machine was unexpectedly completely broken. --> Please make sure to repair things like this BEFORE we arrive, as we always need it. We’ll be back very soon, after all ... One thing to note: as expected, the flat is slowly ‘showing its age’; the exterior appearance and the bathroom fixtures in particular are suffering – these definitely need updating. For example, the shower heads are producing less and less water the longer they’re used, or the water isn’t directed downwards properly. That’s a shame and could be sorted out relatively easily and quickly --> descale... replace... clean... repaint the façade again... replace/repair broken furniture... Regarding the extended stay / late checkout of around 10 hours, there were apparently some misunderstandings, resulting in a major, unexpected and, above all, very hectic move to another house. Something like this is completely unnecessary, especially as the so-called new guests demonstrably didn’t arrive (early) at all until our later departure in the evening --> therefore: with such questions or uncertainties, always ask (again) if anything is unclear. One positive thing we noticed this time was that the 24/7 supermarket finally sells genuinely ‘useful’ items and food, rather than just offering a ‘makeshift’ selection. That’s good. Keep it up. However, in the various restaurants (@ main building / @ playground / @ pool-ocean), the range and choice could be significantly better and wider, so that you wouldn’t even think of having to leave Fumba-Town to eat if you don’t feel like cooking yourself. Unfortunately, the large house opposite with the pool by the sea, owned by the same owner from Dubai, wasn’t available this time, as she was staying there herself. Maybe next time … ;-) ! A general and well-intentioned comment (from an architect & civil engineer): “Fumba-Town” was / is / and will continue to be a major building site --> this must be communicated very openly everywhere. (All booking platforms – real, informative photos). We, too, were confronted with this fact unexpectedly and were therefore completely taken by surprise last year in February 2025 – this year, in 2026, we already knew what to expect. However, we met several other guests by the pool and at the beach restaurant who were, for the first time, completely taken by surprise and utterly shocked by this unexpected situation. (Noise / dirt / disruption) --> Communicate openly and honestly, everywhere online, that the whole of Fumba-Town is still ‘under construction’ !!! This is only fair and honest, and avoids disillusioned (and therefore non-returning) guests. This is a well-intentioned but all the more urgent reminder ! :-)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Smooth check-in. The house is comfortable, very clean with a unique style. The team was very responsive and super helpful. We will definitely be back again!!
